My name is Sam “Duke” Catanzaro, and yes - Duke is my real middle name. But it carries more meaning than that. It was passed down from my great-grandfather, a courageous, first generation Italian-American infantry leader in World War II. Despite sustaining severe injuries, he fought hard, lived into his mid-90s, and was the embodiment of strength, perseverance, and resilience. He’s my inspiration and the standard I strive to live up to everyday - someone who works hard, pushes forward, and never backs down from a challenge.

My own journey began during my sophomore year of high school when a sports injury sidelined me from the field. Unable to play, I picked up a camera and discovered a new passion: capturing the energy and intensity of sports from a new perspective. What started as filming a single lacrosse game has grown into a venture that has taken me across the West Coast, filming a variety of teams from lacrosse and baseball to basketball and football.

Today, I’m fully immersed in the sports video industry, committed to capturing the stories behind the games. It’s not just about the wins and losses - it’s about the relentless dedication, teamwork, and passion these athletes bring to every game. Through my lens, I aim to showcase their dedication, skill, and energy, but most importantly, the bonds they’ve forged. These young men and women are some of the hardest working individuals, and the heart and grit that drive their success deserve to be seen by the world.
